Yes, band is indeed my life. I attend every rehearsal gladly. Like my friends, who are mostly all in band with me, we go a little overboard. Yeah, I wear my band shirts a lot and have all my band music on my iPod and all that jazz. During marching season, I memorize my music with ease and my clarinet is always in tune. And during concert season, my bassoon is always heard perfectly.
But call me and band nerd, and I’ll correct you angrily. Didn’t you catch the fact that I play TWO instruments?! You should see me when we’re just getting into concert music, before marching season’s over. I’ll have both instruments out and in my lap. You see, I am so much more that a band nerd. I’m even greater than a music freak. I am THE BAND NINJA!
