She stares at the blank piece of paper. She watches her own hand confidently form letters into words. She tries her best to write something profound that also sounds lovely. She frowns more and more as the blank piece of paper slowly fills with words she deems pointless. She is getting nowhere closer to the unknown idea she wants to convey. She racks her brain while still writing those pointless words. She, in her sixteen years, fancies herself to have learned many lessons from life and wants very much to share her little bit of wisdom. Description She sat reading Emma by Jane Austen. Her unzipped, plain, grayish-black jacket was comfortably worn so that it hung just so. Crazy Well, here I go again. I don't even have anything to write about! But, here I am, with a pen in my hand, scribbling out random words, and grimacing at the painful callouses forming on my right hand. I don't know... it's just so intoxicating. I really should be reading. Ashley's waiting on me to finnish InkDeath. But, I just really want to write. I don't seem to care enough that I would be so much more productive if I were studying for my A Farewell to Arms test next period or even reading the book that I want to be reading.

So, we're wasting time in Lit Mag... er, having "techinical difficults", actually. So, i though I'd tell y'all some funny stories and such.

--well, before the stories, Jennifer Valdez, Elizabeth Sohns and I went to Westwood to compete in a UIL Ready Writing meet. There was like at least 30 kids there, and they only place up to 6th place. Jennifer Valdez- 2nd, Elizabeth Sohns- 4th, and me- 6th. So, we effectively took half the possible spots and are all going to district! It's pretty exciting and I'll get my essay up here whenever I get it back, cuz it was pretty amazing.

--In psychoology, I brought up the albino dolphin they found. It turned into a conversation about *dramatic voice* Vampire Dolphin! dun dun DUN! *squeak squeak*

--My friend and her mom were talking about the guy who missed his daughter's birth to audition for American Idol. Her mom asked, "Would you miss YOUR daughter's birth for something like that?" "Mom, I'm pretty sure that's physically impossible..."
